Takagi has been known to produce environment friendly, high quality, and innovative tankless water heating products in SoHo. The company has been in operation since 1952 and safety, quality, and service are the cornerstones of its success. The company provides top of the line products with advanced features and components.
Released in 2010, the T-KJr2 is available in two models for indoor installation and outdoor installations. The T-KJr2-IN/OS is the smallest water heater in the Takagi tankless products with a maximum hot water output of 6.6 gallons per minute. It measures 20.5″ x 13.8″ x 6.7″ and weighs 33 lbs. This compact, wall mounted water heating unit is designed to perform anything a 40-gallon tank-type water heater can do and more. It can support hydronic baseboard or radiant floor heating applications, as well as provide domestic hot water to plumbing fixtures and appliances.
This tankless water heating machine can provide the hot water needed for a small SoHo home or apartment with one or two bathrooms. Its gas input is 19,500 Btu to 140,000 Btu per hour for either natural gas or liquid propane. In warmer areas where the ground water is 60°F, the unit can provide enough hot water for one shower and a lavatory basin at a time; or one low-flow shower (2.5 GPM or less) and an appliance, such as a dishwasher or washing machine, at the same time. And for colder areas with ground water temperature is 40°F or less, it can provide hot water to one major fixture at a time.
